Paragraph Summary

Masquerading as a boy, Taelor de’Ignot, helps Lord Rian an’Gloud prepare for war. Her sharade is put in jeopardy by a new page that Rian has taken on and this ihibits her ability to help the lord prepare. But Lord Rian is facing his own issues, he has been told his future by Seer Rignot and his fate depends on the girl being with him. Lord Rian must make a choice between dying or putting his friends only daughter at risk. The order has come and Rian makes his choice, the battle field awaits him as he and Taelor go to fight the enemy off. As war rages all around them a smaller battle takes place between Rian and the enemy general, Rian falls from the enemies sword and Taelor steps in. and defeats the lord, but in the process her identity is revealed and her dream if being a Knight is gone. Taelor is sent home in disgrace but months later when the war is over she receives orders to report to the King of Yur where she is Knighted for her bravery.
