Name: Alexis Dorina
Sentence: Alexis works her way into an aytpical job and finds herself at odds with what she has to do and what she should do.
Motivation (abstract): Alexis wishes to be well known among the undercurrents as a deadly assassin.
Goal (concrete): Alexis wants to bring Tristan back to Jaysin and gain prestige and fame from her peers.
Conflict: Alexis’ captive is persistent and has a way about him that she can’t help but like.
Epiphany: Alexis’ realizes that Jaysin’s plan is wrong and she should do the right thing even though it won’t get her want she wants.
Paragraph: Alexis has finally struck out on her own and has been proclaimed an assassin by her peers. She persuades Trey’s renowned leader of the undercurrents to allow her to kidnap the Prince of Harrow, a job she wouldn’t normally take. Alexis hopes this will bring her fame and prestige. The capture of the prince goes according to plan, but on the journey back to Trey the unexpected happens. Prince Tristan works his way into her heart and changes her belief system. But before she can let the prince go, a bounty hunter finds them. Together they dispatch the man, but now their lives hang in jeopardy.
Name: Prince Tristan Aslyn of Harrow
Sentence: Tristan must escape the hands of a lovely girl before she turns him over to a horrible man.
Motivation (abstract): Tristan wants to be a great king.
Goal (concrete): Tristan needs to persuade his captor or escape her clutches if he wants to see his next birthday.
Conflict: Alexis is a lovely girl with a fire about her, Tristan can’t help but like her.
Epiphany: Tristan realizes that not all people are good or evil, there is always a little of all in everyone.
Paragraph: Tristan is preparing to be King, he is months away from being crowned when he is kidnapped by a young woman. Tristan tries to escape the clutches of his kidnapper only to be thrawted on each attempt. Tristan’s crowning is top of his mind and he tries a different tactic and he eventually persuades her to let him go. However, before the ropes are cut completely they are attacked. Alexis assures him he can go, but his life is in immediate danger. Tristan brings Alexis back to the castle to keep her safe.
Name: Jaysin Plaer
Sentence: Jaysin’s plan to kidnap the Prince of Harrow goes afoul when his pawn doesn’t do the job.
Motivation (abstract): Jaysin wants fortune.
Goal (concrete): Jaysin needs the prince in his hand or dead, either will fuel his plans.
Conflict: Alexis falls for Tristan and won’t turn him over.
Epiphany: Jaysin finds that not all people can lead the criminal life even if their hearts are solid in the matter at the start.
Paragraph: As leader of the undercurrents in Trey, Jaysin is always seeking to profit from major issues. The crowning of neighboring kingdom of Harrow would dampen his foot hold in both kingdoms when the Prince takes over. Jaysin plans to kidnap the prince and ransom him off, after the deadline for the crowing has passed, to allow a man of less integrity can take the throne. Jaysin hires Alexis, a reputed assassin, young and malleable to his way. Word reaches Jaysin that Alexis has fallen for the prince and he sends a bounty hunter after them. The mission is to kill them both.
